We are seeking dedicated General Laborers to join our growing team and contribute to our ongoing success.

    Job Description:

    As a General Laborer with Trueline Contractors, you will play a vital role in supporting our excavation and construction projects. This position is entry level, and located in Logan Utah. Some construction knowledge needed. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with site preparation, handling materials, and performing general labor tasks to ensure efficient and safe project completion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist in excavation, grading, and trenching operations.

    Check slopes for conformance to requirements using levels, lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.

    Cover pipes with earth or other materials.

    Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using welding equipment, cement, or glue.

    Cut pipes to required lengths.

    Operate mechanized equipment such as pickup trucks, rollers, tandem dump trucks, front-end loaders, or backhoes.

    Locate existing pipes needing repair or replacement using magnetic or radio indicators.

    Install or repair sanitary or stormwater sewer structures or pipe systems.

    Operate and maintain hand tools and basic machinery, including small excavators and skid steers.

    Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment.

    Help set up and clean up job sites, including organizing materials and removing debris.

    Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

    Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.

    Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

    Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices.

    Qualifications:

    Some experience in construction is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

    Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.

    Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.

    Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

    Effective communication skills and attention to detail.

    Valid driver’s license is preferred.

    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.

    Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, motor vehicle check, and E-Verify upon starting.
