In this year-round position as the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our highly seasonal operation, including our onsite restaurant, Ocean Point Kitchen, during the vibrant summer and fall months. The off-season responsibilities will include staff development, capital projects, seasonal programming, and budgeting to ensure a seamless guest experience. Our ideal candidate brings a minimum of 5 years of hospitality experience to the table, ideally in a hotel management capacity. Responsibilities: • Construct and manage a straightforward and effective marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services and amenities • Design a budget that guarantees customer satisfaction and quality of services while keeping expenses controlled and profit margins maximized • Establish the hotel's reputation for quality by inspecting rooms, public areas, and the surrounding grounds for cleanliness and upkeep • Provide the vision, leadership, and strategy that inspires your staff to deliver exceptional guest service that drives financial success • Collaborate with hotel department leaders to define goals and objectives that are compatible with the overall hotel goals, as well as strategies for achieving them Qualifications: • A proven record of experience managing a team, preferably in the hospitality field, is required • You must have 5 or more years of experience working in the hospitality field • Must have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills • Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED; degree in hospitality or related field of study preferred Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 yearly
