    General Manager - Elevator Modernization - Base Salary to 175k/year - Bladensburg, MD

    • Our client has a strong foundation in government contracts and is now focused on expanding into the commercial sector. It is highly established and has experienced over 500% revenue growth in the past two years. The new leadership is committed to process improvement, efficiency, and growth. Our client is seeking a General Manager with experience in the elevator industry to lead operations for a well-established elevator company. The General Manager, based in Maryland, will have full P&L responsibility and oversee operations across the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMC). This is a newly created role due to the company’s rapid growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily operations, including field operations, sales, and office staff.
    • Implement and manage P&L structures to drive profitability and cost control.
    • Develop and execute strategies to expand the commercial side of the business.
    • Foster strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement process efficiencies.
    • Handle financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and accounts receivables.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ of experience in the elevator industry is required.
    • Proven track record in sales with a focus on commission or performance-based bonuses.
    • Strong leadership and operational management experience.
    • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 150k - 175k/year range
    • Bonus: Targeted 30% of base with additional performance incentives.
