    About Us:

    We are a growing swim school dedicated to teaching children essential water safety and swimming skills in a fun, supportive, and energetic atmosphere. Our team is made up of enthusiastic instructors who create a positive learning environment while ensuring the highest safety standards as well as dedicated sales & service staff focused on WOW! customer service with membership enrollment and providing the GOLDEN experience.

    About the Role:

    As General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our swim school, ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth class scheduling, and an engaged, high-performing team. This role requires a hands-on approach, including weekends (about 25% of your schedule), to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, and motivate a team of young professionals, fostering a positive workplace culture.

    Operational Excellence: Ensure classes run efficiently, facilities are well-maintained, and safety protocols are upheld.

    Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with families, addressing concerns and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

    Scheduling & Staffing: Oversee staff scheduling and manage peak weekend shifts to ensure full coverage.

    Business Growth: Collaborate with Regional Manager and Ownership to drive enrollment, manage budgets, and implement marketing initiatives.

    What We’re Looking For:

    Passion for working with children and a strong interest in aquatics.

    Proven experience managing a young workforce in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment (hospitality, recreation, or retail experience is a plus!).

    Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

    Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

    Availability to work weekends as part of a full-time schedule.

    Multi-tasking guru - love and fin-tastic at doing it!

    Education & Experience:

    High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications or equivalent is desired.

    Experience as youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor or aquatics instructor/supervisor is preferred. 2+ years in aquatics programming desired.

    3-5 years of management experience required.
