We are seeking an experienced, dynamic General Manager to lead an exceptional team at the Hilton Garden Inn in Gilroy, CA. The ideal candidate must have experience with Hilton or Hilton Garden Inn and a proven track record of successfully managing Food & Beverage operations. As General Manager (GM), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel, ensuring alignment with our vision, mission, and core values. Your responsibilities include maximizing financial performance, enhancing guest satisfaction, and fostering staff development within established quality standards. Additionally, you will be accountable for the hiring, training, and development of all hotel staff. We are looking for a self-starter and a leader who understands that the role requires 24-hour availability and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records. • Handle guest complaints and queries, promoting exceptional customer service. • Be present on property during shift changes to communicate priorities and support the team. • Inspect guest rooms and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with brand and company standards. • Oversee daily operations, including room bookings, event planning, and maintenance. • Recruit, train, and mentor hotel staff, fostering a culture of growth and teamwork. • Conduct daily check-ins with department heads to align on priorities and maintain operations.
