    POSITION OVERVIEW

    House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvements company specializing in both large and small jobs in the Fort Worth area. We are looking for the right people who are looking to lead a fast growing company through its next phase of growth. We will train you with all the tools to be a great leader with integrated systems, automated call center that can schedule direct to your technicians, and automatically integrate into accounting and reporting software for ease of verification and enable you to operate and grow the business.

    The General Manager is a high-energy, steady professional who is proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically. The General Manager takes care of a portfolio of projects on a weekly basis. Ideally, a qualified General Manager will have experience in the different facets critical in small business: sales, marketing, administration, operations, book keeping, project tracking, workforce scheduling, optimizing plans and paying and receiving payments (All electronic). Human resources and an accountant will aid you in dealing with a number of issues freeing you to focus on business efficiency and quality of our handy man services.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Working closely with the business owner and other employees to set and achieve the business goals

    Leading and managing the team of service technicians and handyman projects

    Ensuring high-quality execution for all jobs; monitoring post-job satisfaction of customers, and managing expectations about the scope of the work and costs

    Completion of staffing tasks including recruiting, hiring, training, payroll, payroll expense, retention and staff scheduling

    Maintaining all information related to sales, estimates, job, invoicing accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as other operational details

    Performing office responsibilities including the purchasing of supplies and maintaining an organized workspace.

    Overseeing relationships with customers, realtors, property managers and other service companies within companies’ target markets to increase sales and measure the return/effectiveness of these activities

    SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    Highly organized and process oriented

    3+ years hands on experience with a knowledge of principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry, as a General Manager, or similar leadership role conducting similar activities to what's listed above

    2+ years of experience leading teams to achieve exceptional customer experiences

    Computer experience with MS Office including Excel and word

    Possess excellent customer communication and independent work skills

    Strong desire to help others excel and hit goals

    A strong work ethic and highly dependable

    Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools

    Valid driver's license
