Responsibilities: • Guide the leaders of each hotel department in developing goals, objectives, and a plan of action for achieving them • Lead sales and marketing efforts by developing a targeted strategy for publicizing the hotel's services and amenities • Empower hotel staff to excel in superior guest service to drive financial success through strong leadership and creative operational strategies • Developing programs and initiatives to increase team engagement and achieve performance and development goals • Maintaining compliance with all required brand and service standards – collaborating with colleagues to exceed guest expectations • Building relationships with guests and external contacts such as current and potential clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers, and local communities • Working with the management company on annual capital, cash flow, and sales and marketing plans to accurately forecast budgets • Working with our revenue management team to drive revenues, future profitability, and maximum return on investment Qualifications: • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED; we prefer a degree in hospitality or related field of study • 5+ years of experience working in a hotel or the hospitality industry required • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • You must have a minimum of two years current experience in the General Manager role with a midscale or higher branded hotel Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
