We are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our In-Home Care agency. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual with strong business acumen, a passion for high-quality patient care, and experience managing teams professional environment. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of care services, day to day operational efficiency, compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering an environment of compassion and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the in-home care operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients in accordance with company policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of caregivers, nurses, and administrative staff, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and compliant with company standards.
Budget and Financial Management: Develop and monitor the budget for the in-home care program, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining cost-effective operations without compromising care quality.
Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure all care services are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and continuously monitor and improve care quality through audits, reviews, and feedback.
Client and Family Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their families, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring client satisfaction. Build strong relationships to foster trust and loyalty.
Staff Development: Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of caregivers and support staff to maintain high standards of service and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports on program performance, and submit to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
Strategic Planning: Work with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies for growth and expansion of in-home care services, exploring new business opportunities, partnerships, and service offerings.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Solid problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Strong financial management skills and experience with budget development and cost control.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
