    Position: Director/General Manager

    Summary:

    Bluerun is an indoor ski & snowboard training center start up dedicated to training and progression, featuring revolving slopes and Skytech simulators. We are looking for an energetic and results-driven individual who is passionate about both the technical aspects of skiing and snowboarding and creating a dynamic customer experience. Join us in shaping a new concept in the Northeast.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and oversee a ski/snowboard training program.

    Manage lesson schedules and operational efficiencies.

    Deliver optimal customer experience.

    Engage in industry events and maintain professional affiliations.

    Organize events and customer activities as necessary.

    Drive operational efficiency to meet sales targets through promotions, partnerships and innovative marketing strategies.

    Mentor & supervise instructors and staff.

    Teach ski lessons if/as needed.

    Ensure safety compliance and conduct training.

    Organize orientation and training for new employees.

    Key Skills:

    Team leadership and development.

    Excellent verbal communication skills.

    Analytical, creative, and multitasking abilities.

    Knowledge of ski resort and hospitality operations.

    Marketing and sales communication skills.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Business/Hospitality Management preferred.

    Instructor in a resort environment; supervisory or managerial experience preferred.

    Certifications:

    PSIA/AASI Level I Certification or higher.

    Physical Demands/Work Environment:

    Some travel required for industry events.

    Physical fitness required for teaching and operations.

    Frequent skiing and use of indoor ski simulators.

    Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
