We specialize in parking lot line striping, seal-coating, and general pavement maintenance with a commitment to quality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our team and drive our expansion throughout the southern United States.
Position Summary: The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including revenue generation, operational excellence, team development, and strategic growth. This ground floor opportunity will be an evolving role with a strong emphasis on business development, especially in the first 12 months. This role requires a results-oriented leader with strong business acumen, a passion for team building, and experience in operations, sales, and customer relations within the pavement maintenance or a related industry. A key focus of this role is driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities to fuel our expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth & Business Development:
Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to generate leads and close deals.
Build a pipeline of opportunities through joint efforts with Inside Sales, cold calling and traditional prospecting.
Maintain a strong focus on sales performance, consistently seeking ways to grow the customer base and increase market share.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure efficient, high-quality, and safe completion of all pavement maintenance projects.
Implement operational best practices and processes to improve productivity and service delivery.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational goals are met.
Team Development & Leadership:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of technicians and operational staff.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.
Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to staff.
Strategic Growth & Expansion:
Play a key role in the company’s expansion into new markets across the southern United States.
Identify market trends and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Work closely with the executive leadership team to align growth initiatives with company goals.
Customer Relations & Service Excellence:
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Handle escalated customer concerns and implement solutions to enhance service quality.
Promote a customer-centric culture throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a leadership role within pavement maintenance, construction, facilities services, or a related industry.
Demonstrated success in revenue generation, operational management, and team development.
Strong track record in sales, with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Strong understanding of project management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in using business and operational software (e.g., CRM, scheduling tools, and financial reporting systems).
· Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field preferred.
