Responsibilities: • Manage all hotel departments (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage) to ensure smooth operations and profitability. • Develop and manage the hotel’s annual budget, monitor financial performance, and implement revenue growth strategies. • Lead, motivate, and train staff, ensuring a positive work environment and excellent service delivery. • Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, monitoring feedback, and maintaining high-quality standards. • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase visibility and attract new guests. • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety laws. • Maintain operational efficiency through regular inspections, staff coaching, and performance evaluations. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management Qualifications: • Minimum of 3-5 years of hotel management experience, preferably in a branded select-service hotel such as La Quinta Inn & Suites. • Experience working closely with owners and PIPs/Renovations. • Proven track record of success in managing hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team. • Ability to foster a positive work culture and maintain high employee satisfaction. • Solid understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control. • Experience with revenue management, including pricing strategies, occupancy optimization, and forecasting. • Strong ability to monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. • Commitment to providing excellent guest service and resolving issues quickly and effectively. • Knowledge of guest satisfaction metrics (e.g., surveys, TripAdvisor) and strategies to improve ratings. • Ensure the hotel maintains La Quinta’s brand standards for service, cleanliness, and guest experience. • Experience developing and implementing local sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue. • Ability to understand and leverage the hotel’s market segments and competition. • Familiarity with online travel agencies (OTAs), direct sales efforts, and promotional campaigns. • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to hotel operations, including OSHA, EEOC, and health & safety laws. • Experience in ensuring compliance with brand standards, quality assurance reviews, and franchise audits. • Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Synxis or similar systems). • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business management tools. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, guests, and corporate management. • Ability to resolve conflicts and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in challenging situations. • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Must be able to lift or carry items up to 25 lbs and perform basic physical tasks as needed for hotel operations. Compensation: $60,000+ yearly
