    About North High Brewing:

    North High Brewing serves craft beer made by the brewery that shares our name! We also serve a full menu of from scratch bites, cater private events and large parties, and host community events. Our first restaurant located in Historic Dublin, opened in 2020, Historic Zionsville location opened in 2022* and our Uptown Westerville location opened in the Fall of 2023.

    Job Summary:

    General Manager

    The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the strategic goals are met by adhering to operational policies, managing to budget, engaging and serving employees and customers.

    We are looking for a restaurant General Manager who will lead all operational aspects for the team, store operations, policies and culture. The GM provides overall leadership, guidance and direction for the operations team. To be successful, candidates must be self motivated and highly organized, with strong leadership and communication skills. We expect you to take ownership of the restaurant, and meet strategic goals determined by key performance indicators. As a company, we continuously coach our team members and help them strengthen their skills as operators and financial managers within the business.

    Customer Service:

    Provide top-notch customer service to our guests via email, phone or in person setting the example for the rest of the team.

    Present a professional appearance adhering to the smart casual dress code

    Store Operations:

    Ensuring daily operations & processes are being executed according to procedures.

    Oversee management of all food and beverage operations, pricing strategies, budgeting, forecasting and metrics.

    Work with the KM to plan on the menu including structure, content and pricing.

    Negotiate with vendors as needed to ensure consistency of product, service and pricing.

    Coordinate the development, implementation and interpretation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, service standards and other guidelines.

    Ensure private events and large parties are being executed according to SOPs

    Work with internal teams to ensure cleanliness requirements are being met and overseeing daily cleanliness operations are taking place, including Front of House and Back of House including the inside and outside of property.

    Work with system administrator on all systems (POS- Toast, Financial - R365)

    Financial:

    Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.

    Analyze performance indicators, budgets, financial statements and sales reports.

    Identify areas to cut costs while improving programs, performance and policies.

    HR:

    Oversee KM and AGMs

    Oversee Event Managers

    Manage onboarding of new hires. Ensure all paperwork is complete before the new employee is clocks into train/work.

    Ensure the team’s training is up-to-date regarding policies, procedures, products, events and specials.

    Leadership:

    Ensure that the managers and staff uphold the standards and reputation of the brand, while enhancing guest and team member experience, and overall profitability of the entire enterprise.

    Identify objectives and systems to improve consistency and synergy throughout the organization.

    Executes on short and long-term goals, plans and strategies for company and ensures company complies with them.

    Job Requirements:

    Ideally, 5+ years of experience as a restaurant Assistant General Manager and General Manager

    Ideally, 5+ years of experience in customer service management

    Extensive food and beverage knowledge

    Computer literacy

    Familiarity with restaurant management software (R365 and Toast)

    Experience in event planning

    Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills

    Good financial management skills

    Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    Team player

    Good time-management skills

    Great interpersonal and communication skills

    Culinary school diploma or BS degree in Business Administration
