Job Description: Club Manager (Progress Fire Company Home Association)
Reports to: Board of Trustees
Position Overview: The Club Manager leads and manages all aspects of club operations, ensuring high standards of service, member satisfaction, and financial success. This role is responsible for coordinating and directing staff, assisting with managing budgets, overseeing events, maintaining facilities, and fostering a positive environment for members and guests.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
Supervise daily operations, including dining, recreational facilities, events, and other club activities.
Assist in the development, implementation, and ensure compliance with club policies, procedures, and standards.
Oversee the maintenance of club facilities to ensure a pristine and inviting environment.
Member Experience and Engagement
Maintain positive relationships with club members, addressing any concerns or feedback.
Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met or exceeded.
Plan and promote club events, activities, and services that align with member interests and preferences.
Financial Oversight
Work with Treasurer to develop and manage budgets, including revenue projections and expense management.
Work with Treasurer and Trustees to monitor and report financial performance, implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
Coordinate with Treasurer to ensure timely billing, dues collection, and financial record-keeping.
Team Leadership and Development
Hire, train, and supervise staff and administrative personnel.
Foster a team environment focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and encourage professional growth among team members.
Marketing and Membership Growth
Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain club members.
Oversee marketing and communications efforts, including newsletters, events, and member outreach.
Build relationships with potential members, promoting the club’s benefits and unique offerings.
Compliance and Safety
Ensure the club complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and health and safety standards.
Maintain emergency response and crisis management protocols, ensuring member and employee safety.
