    Job Summary:

    General Manager (GM) will oversee the Part145 Repair Station operations located in Victorville, CA performing C-check inspections and STC installation converting Boeing 737 aircraft from passenger configuration to aerial firefighting type operated on part 137 certificate. Key responsibilities include but not limited too operational management, quality assurance, safety management, team leadership, and budget management.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday. The operational needs of the organization may necessitate working after hours, weekends or holidays.

    Responsibilities:

    Act as the FAA Accountable Manager, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements and overseeing the facility's adherence to FAA standards.

    Manage and monitor project schedule, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals.

    Ensure all required entries are accurately made on the appropriate maintenance forms regarding the work accomplished.

    Create and update data projects to establish and maintain effective stakeholder communication

    Responsible for training, equipment, materials and competent personnel pertinent to the operations of the repair station in order to comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and manufacturer’s recommendations

    Delegate tasks to qualified personnel as needed, while retaining overall responsibility for the completion and quality of the work.

    Set individual and team goals, monitor progress through metrics and scorecards, and conduct comprehensive annual performance evaluations.

    Oversee pipeline of projects, ensuring timely completion

    Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors

    Read manuals, blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements

    Follow all requirements of the RSM/QCM

    Qualifications:

    10+ years’ experience on 737 type aircraft

    5+ years’ experience in aviation management

    Strong knowledge of quality control processes and procedures

    Working knowledge of computers and related software, with the ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

    Excellent analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decision

    Strong communication and negotiation skills
