As a GM you will:
Building a great restaurant culture
Embedding P. Terry's in the communities we serve through strong crew member and guest relationships and Local Restaurant Marketing.
Building strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Managers and Crew Members
Consistently training and developing Crew Members and Managers
Verifying training standards are being maintained
Directing the Management Team, including setting weekly Management schedules and assigning areas of responsibility to the Managers of the restaurant
Responsible for the successful and profitable operations of a restaurant
Supporting the Management Team in developing and leading initiatives that build sales, profitability, and store performance
Planning, preparing, and overseeing weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and budgets
Managing weekly and monthly P&L
Ensuring all cash handling policies and procedures are being followed
Overseeing the cleanliness of the restaurant and preventative maintenance of the equipment and building
Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
Acting as primary liaison with all restaurant vendors and HQ contacts
Attending weekly and quarterly meetings
Requirements of a General Manager:
Must two to three (2-3) years of GM experience
Experience in a Drive Thru is bonus
Motivated and thrive in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
Hands on leader that can lead in both the Back of the House (BOH) and Front of the House (FOH)
Positive competitive outlook - with a Yes Mindset
Bilingual a plus
Must be able to use to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
Must be willing to work up to 10 hours shifts, stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
