    Position Overview:

    We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to oversee our operations across the Mid-Atlantic Region. In this role, you will manage 15 locations throughout Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in industrial distribution, a passion for leadership, and a dedication to cultivating a positive work environment. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining our high standards of quality and customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Leadership and Team Development:

    Lead and motivate teams across fabrication and sales functions to achieve operational and financial goals.

    Lead, mentor, and develop a motivated and high-performing team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering an environment of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.

    Customer Service and Sales Excellence:

    Champion exceptional customer service by promptly addressing internal and external inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.

    Leverage your industry knowledge to identify and provide the best product solutions, proactively resolving customer issues to enhance satisfaction and retention.

    Direct and manage the sales team, setting clear objectives and performance expectations.

    Develop strategies to drive profitable growth, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets.

    Use data-driven insights to identify new sales opportunities and optimize pricing, promotions, and customer outreach.

    Production and Fabrication Management:

    Oversee all aspects of hose production and custom metal fabrication, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency while meeting customer expectations and deadlines.

    Analyze production workflows, identify opportunities for process improvements, and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

    Recommend and execute enhancements to equipment performance, shop layout, and material flow to increase productivity and reduce costs.

    Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, shipping, and receiving, to maintain a seamless supply chain and support efficient store operations.

    Operational Excellence and Compliance:

    Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Manage routine facility maintenance and physical asset management.

    Develop and implement training programs on business operations, customer service, inventory management, and sales. Set clear expectations and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

    Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and take appropriate actions to reward outstanding performance or address disciplinary issues.

    Financial and Strategic Management:

    Understand and manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, driving initiatives to increase profitability while maintaining quality and service standards.

    Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans that align with company goals, market trends, and growth opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (1 year of experience can be substituted for each year of education).

    10-15 years of experience in operations and leadership roles.

    At least 5 years of experience in industrial distribution or a related field.

    Minimum of 5 years of management experience.

    Proven track record of leadership in a production environment.

    Strong understanding of safe practices, inventory management, customer service, and facility operations.

    Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 150 lbs. and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

    Ability to travel within required branch locations.

    Work Environment:

    Exposure to elements such as noise, rubber odor, and the physical demands typical of a fabrication environment.
