Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager with a strong background in the hospitality industry, specifically with Hilton brand experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of a hotel operation, including guest services, sales and marketing, revenue management, and financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and quality service delivery
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve operational goals and objectives
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting
- Implement and maintain brand standards set by Hilton
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, employees, and corporate partners
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the market
- Handle any guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
-Lead, direct and manage all hotel operations including, but not limited to hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, leading service initiatives, leading and managing balanced scorecard performance, implementing and complying with all company policies and standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, leading and developing the executive team, responding to guests inquiries and resolving concerns and hotel-wide meeting participation and facilitation
-Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and service and financial measurements
-Identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement measures to correct those deficiencies
-Serve as primary liaison with hotel owners and corporate entities
-Oversee payroll and the cost control of the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 in a General Manager role
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue and profitability
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Hilton brand standards and procedures
-Hilton experience/knowledge in working with the brand
-Hampton Inn experience (preferred)
