Position Overview:

The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that the business runs smoothly while maintaining a focus on creativity and design excellence. This role requires a balance of leadership, business acumen, and technical knowledge in graphic design. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams, driving project execution, and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to creative design processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of graphic designers, project managers, and other staff, ensuring clear communication and a collaborative work environment.

Project Management: Oversee the successful completion of design projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.

Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day business operations, including workflow optimization, resource allocation, budgeting, and performance tracking.

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Creative Direction: Provide input and guidance on design projects, offering creative solutions and staying involved in the design process when necessary.

Strategic Growth: Develop strategies for expanding business opportunities, including identifying new clients, markets, and service offerings.

Quality Control: Ensure that all design work meets the company’s high standards of quality and is consistent with brand guidelines.

Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and report on business performance, including financial results, project status, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years in graphic design, with at least 1 years in a leadership/managerial role.

Graphic Design Skills: Expertise in industry-standard design tools such as CorelDraw and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).

Leadership: Proven track record in leading and managing creative teams, including overseeing project workflows and fostering a positive team culture.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both creative and non-creative teams.

Business Acumen: Experience managing budgets, setting business goals, and working towards achieving financial targets.

Creative Vision: A strong sense of design aesthetics with the ability to translate business goals into creative solutions.

Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to changing project needs and find solutions under tight deadlines.

Degree: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
