GENESIS, INC. is currently seeking full-time ground lead drivers who are looking to join an award-winning transportation logistics company. GENESIS, INC. IS A CONTRACTED SERVICE PROVIDER FOR FEDEX GROUND. GENESIS IS A family oriented company in a fast growing delivery industry with career opportunities for hard working dedicated individuals.
As a part of Genesis Contingency, we travel to various FedEx terminals in the country that are behind and in need of help. Due to the travelling nature of this job, we pay our drivers a good salary to compensate them for being away from friends and family. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL AS REQUIRED.
Our pay is $300/day.
Hotel costs are taken care of by the company.
Food cost is reimbursed on paycheck as non-taxable reimbursement. (up to $20/day)
Monday through Friday is our mandatory work week.
DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drivers are responsible for safe and timely handling and delivery of packages to businesses and residential areas on their route. Drivers enjoy independence on the road and develop a rewarding and enjoyable career incorporating customer service, road safety and driving skills.
Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions.
Completion of all assigned delivery and pickup stops for the day.
Proper usage of hand held device to record all activity for the day.
Maintain security of all packages and equipment assigned for the day.
Ability to lift, bend, carry & load packages as well as follow directions and turn by turn maps.
Friendly to customers & team members.

DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 21 years or older.
12 months of commercial driving experience in the last 3 years a plus. Driving experience must be paid, for work, not to and from work. I.e. Pizza delivery, mail delivery, parcel delivery, real estate, home healthcare, etc. A CDL IS NOT REQUIRED.
Must be able to pass DOT physical as well as a drug screen and criminal background check.
Must have a clean driving record.
Qualified individuals without experience will be considered for training programs.
