This must be local to the SF Bay Area, but this is a hybrid position- 50% remote / 50% travel
The Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the training of new and existing stores with the field team and operational leadership. The Training Specialist will report to the VP of Operational Excellence. The Training Specialist will also lead the training of different operational tools and technologies and processes, such as Inshop, Adoria, Dayforce, Yoobic, etc. The candidate should have a strong operational background, driven, articulate and proficient in Microsoft Office suite. This candidate must live around the San Francisco bay area and travel up to 50% of the time.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supports and trains at new store openings for both Corporate and Franchise operations
· Work closely with the Product Development team to update manuals as-needed.
· Assist in the implementation and training of new products and operational procedures.
· Become the expert on operational systems and lead training sessions for the operations team.
· Support operations with on-site training as needed.
· 50% travel required.

Qualifications
· Minimum experience: Two (2) years as a food service manager in sushi OR three (3) years in food service management
· Must have experience and an in-depth understanding of the Food Retail Industry
· Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office Suite and adaptable to new technologies.
· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
· Valid driver’s license; Ability to travel to all locations; Long distance traveling required
· Strong grasp of Hana Group standards, mission, and core values
