Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and empathetic personal support caregiver to assist a 33-year-old man with high-functioning autism. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism and a genuine passion for helping others. This role involves providing support with budgeting and finances, grocery shopping, cooking, community engagement, and finding recipes. The caregiver will also accompany the client on walks and other outdoor activities.

Responsibilities:

Assist the client with budgeting and managing finances.

Support with grocery shopping and cooking meals.

Help the client find and choose recipes to cook.

Accompany the client on walks and outdoor activities.

Engage in community activities and social outings with the client.

Foster a supportive and encouraging environment to help the client develop and maintain life skills.

Qualifications:

Experience working with individuals with autism or similar conditions is preferred.

Ability to cook and assist in meal planning.

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Must pass Level 2 Background Check.

Schedule:

Part time

Wednesday & Sunday

5 hour shifts
