    Company Overview:

    Exploration Instruments LLC provides state-of-the-art geophysical equipment on a rental basis to engineers, geophysicists, hydrologists, archaeologists, and others involved in geotechnical investigations of the subsurface of the earth. Our applications include geotechnical engineering and investigations, environmental clean-up, UXO detection, concrete evaluation, bridge inspection, soils analysis, and mineral exploration.

    Position Summary:

    The Geophysicist will provide technical support to clients, discuss implementation of equipment with customers, and drive sales efforts. This role combines technical expertise in geophysics with strong business development skills. The Geophysicist will ensure high levels of client satisfaction and expand the company's market presence.

    Essential Functions:

    Provide technical support and training to clients on the use of geophysical equipment.

    Participate in sales activities by providing technical expertise to customers.

    Drive sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with clients with a focus on sales and marketing.

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, hydrologists, and environmental scientists.

    Manage the inventory, maintenance, and rental of geophysical equipment.

    Responsibilities:

    Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to equipment rentals and sales.

    Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.

    Set and achieve sales targets for the Pennsylvania office.

    Lead business development efforts to expand the office's client base and market reach.

    Support staff at conferences/tradeshows.

    Mentor and collaborate with team members to encourage maximum performance and dedication.

    Qualifications:

    B.S. in Geophysics, Geological Engineering, or a related field; M.S. or MBA is a strong plus.

    Proven experience in geophysical survey design, data acquisition, and interpretation.

    Strong knowledge of geophysical equipment and instrumentation, specifically seismic, EM, and ERT.

    Proven track record in managing operations and driving sales growth.

    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in geophysical investigation of the subsurface, particularly in UXO detection, environmental site assessment, and geologic exploration using Seismic, ERT, and EM equipment.

    Familiarity with geotechnical and environmental engineering principles.

    Experience in the rental and/or sales of geophysical equipment.

    Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
