We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Geotechnical/Civil Engineer-in-Training with 2-4 years of experience in soils or construction to join one of our clients
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field investigations, including soil sampling and in-situ testing.
- Analyze geotechnical and geological data for foundation design, slope stability, and other engineering solutions.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, technical memos, and calculations.
- Perform construction observation, testing, and quality assurance for soils, foundations, and earthwork.
- Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and clients to deliver successful projects.
- Support proposal preparation and cost estimation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, soils analysis, or construction.
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, geology, and construction practices.
- Familiarity with geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, PLAXIS) and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) is a plus.
- Willingness to work both in the field and in the office
