    Job Summary

    We are seeking geotechnical/construction materials testing field and laboratory technicians to join our team in Tampa, Florida! We are a Florida based consulting company specialized in geotechnical engineering and environmental services. As a geotechnical/construction material testing field and/or laboratory technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of construction materials (soils, concrete and others) testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under direct supervision and/or from detailed procedures.

    Responsibilities Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    Performing testing and sampling of soils, concrete, pavement, and other construction materials at active construction sites and/or in the laboratory.

    Reviewing construction plans to determine the testing required, and track testing performed.

    Communicating with client and project team on construction progress and testing results.

    Preparing daily field reports of construction activities and testing results.

    Other duties may be assigned.

    Qualifications

    High school education or Equivalent.

    Experience performing construction materials testing / inspections is preferred, but not required.

    Experienced professionals are highly encouraged to apply.

    Must have basic math, calculator and computer skills.

    Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication.

    Must be able to read and understand work plans.

    Must be able to work off shifts and overtime .

    Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required).

    Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds.
