Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Geotechnical Engineer role will have
A Professional Engineer (PE) license. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, preferably within the Engineering industry. Proven experience in project management, geotechnical investigation, geotechnical laboratory analyses, field investigation, establishing design parameters, and construction phase testing. A strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical design. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problems. Proficiency in using geotechnical software and other relevant engineering tools. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
