JOB SUMMARY:
Develop and manage cost and profit analysis activities, including forecasting, budgeting, internal reporting, and analytical reporting to support financial closing and consolidation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain standard cost system for all products;
Supervise and review shop floor reporting for direct and indirect labor, material movement, and scrap reporting;
Responsible for inventory record accuracy;
Prepare weekly, monthly and annual profit and loss forecasts, budgets & actuals;
Establish and maintain procedures to gather, process, and record information of data processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll;
Required to act as a working supervisor with office staff who are responsible for payroll, data processing, release accounting, customer delivery requirements, and purchasing;
Coordinate and audit quarterly physical inventories, identify and investigate discrepancies between perpetual and physical inventories;
Responsible for applying corporate established accounting and auditing procedures for the safeguarding of company assets and to ensure internal controls are followed. All exceptional or irregular activities must be reported to the corporate office;
Perform additional related activities as necessary.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in accounting, finance, or related - MBA preferred;
5 or more years related experience in cost or financial analysis;
10 years experience in accounting for a manufacturing plant preferred;
Experience with ERP systems;
Experience with daily/weekly reporting of operations performance, KPI, or similar
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
SAP experience is highly desired and excellent computer skills are required.
