Our Gift Shop Attendant is a part-time position with the potential for additional hours during peak season. As a Gift Shop Attendant, you will be the first impression for our guests, welcoming them with warmth and hospitality. You’ll assist visitors in finding unique souvenirs, provide information about our resort services and the local area, handle check-ins and check-outs, and complete sales transactions to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Responsibilities: • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a warm first impression. • Check guests in and out efficiently while providing excellent customer service. • Assist guests with gift shop purchases, complete sales transactions, and maintain accurate records. • Perform light cleaning and restocking to ensure the gift shop remains tidy and well-stocked. • Provide guests with information about our resort services and recommend local attractions. • Support Guest Relations Specialists as needed to enhance the overall guest experience. • Communicate effectively with multiple departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Qualifications: • Previous customer service experience, preferably in hospitality or retail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members. • Basic money-handling skills, including processing sales and handling transactions accurately. • Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn reservation and point-of-sale systems. • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. • A friendly and welcoming attitude with a commitment to excellent guest service. Compensation: $13 hourly
