Traffic Control Laborer - Arcata

$20 ‒ $24 Hourly
Glass Roots Construction is looking for multiple Traffic Control Laborers from Redding to Arcata. We do not pay relocation and you will need to commute daily.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Construction Laborer is responsible for general laborer duties and support on construction sites
- Use various equipment, hand, and power tools
- Prepare ground trenches for pipes and utility lines
- Remove, fill, or compact earth
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade and utility safety standards.
- Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment on the truck
- Will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting construction
- Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic
- May be required to work overtime; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies, or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed
- Ability to follow instructions
- Maintain 3-way communication to ensure safe traffic control standards
- Any other tasks to support our construction crews.

- Estimated hourly is anticipated to be between $20-$24. Pay ranges represent a good faith hourly estimate at the time of the job posting. Actual pay will be based on multiple factors including experience, skill sets, location, internal equity, and market rates.
