Global Combat Support Systems-Army (GCSS-A) Instructor
CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for an experienced Global Combat Support Systems-Army (GCSS-A) Instructor to provide strategic level supply logistics chain management within the Army Sustainment University. The successful candidate will have a firm grasp on Army Logistics operations, data analysis using the Global Combat Support System-Army System and processes.
The following tasks includes some but not all requirements:
· Provide platform training to Commissioned/Warrant Officers, Noncommissioned Officers, and civilians;
· Develop, implement, and maintain course materials;
· Provide analysis of Plant 2000 and Plant 2001 logistics performance and metrics.
· Provide operational briefings regarding GCSS-A capabilities as they relate to selected theater of operations;
· Conduct independent research and analysis regarding the status of sustainment operations within the distribution pipeline and the impact on readiness
Required Skills
· Five (5) Staff experience years of Military Service (Army) supply chain management;
· Staff experience as a primary staff officer, primary staff directorate NCOIC, or a primary staff directorate warrant officer;
· Demonstrate a solid understanding of Brigade Support Battalion and Combat Sustainment Support operations;
· Demonstrate a solid understanding of Property Book, Unit Supply, and the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) management;
· Demonstrate technical/functional knowledge of AR 710-2 (Secondary Item Policy and Retail Level Management), AR 710-4 (Property Accountability), and GCSS-A related Materiel Requirements Planning (MRP) technical and functional processes;
· Ability to prepare and deliver technical and non-technical information and instructional briefings to team members, students, and government personnel as required.
Required Experience
· Possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance;
· Must be a U.S. Citizen;
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Candidates with exceptional experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis;
· Graduate from an officer career course, Warrant Officer Senior Service Education (WOSSE), Senior Level NCO education, or similar PME.
