Internship Program Overview
At ServiceNow, we’re looking for students who want to learn, grow, and take a giant step early in their careers, all while making a giant impact. We offer 12-week summer internship opportunities across various business functions.
Interns will participate in executive speaker series, career development workshops, philanthropic efforts, and team-building activities. Additionally, interns will have access to online learnings and a dedicated summer coach to further grow their careers with us.

Communications Intern Overview
We have four different teams with open roles. Please see details about each team and their role below:
Employee Communications Intern
Help lead communications to drive employee engagement and increase adoption of our digital employee experience on the ServiceNow platform
Assist in supporting ongoing content governance management and best practices on our key employee channels.
Help reimagine our in-office digital signage content testing new, fresh content ideas across key areas and spaces.
Assist with cultural moments and other milestone employee experiences
Support our Now at Work channel including keeping the tips and best practices fresh, creating KBs as needed, and leading a small-scale promotion campaign with specific targeted audiences.
Create our Now Insider bi-weekly newsletter (compile and edit images, draft copy, etc.).
Support Talent Brand Employee Activation by drafting engaging social-first copy for employee stories for our Social Ambassadors platform.
Analyst Relations
Public Relations Intern
Communicate complex topics effectively and create a range of content, from press releases and blogs and social posts to executive briefing materials and creative briefs, within the enterprise technology landscape.
Expand relationships with media.
Manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges.
Support PR strategies for driving media coverage, working closely with subject matter experts, executives, internal thought leaders and PR agency team.
Collaborate with global PR teams on driving successful launches, announcements, PR programs, and other awareness opportunities globally.
Monitor industry and market-related news and events to assess opportunities for rapid response and dedicated media outreach.
Support the partner ecosystem through announcements and campaigns.
Qualifications
Who you are:

Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies, Digital Communications, Digital Media Studies, Journalism, English, Public Relations or other related academic fields at an accredited college or university.
Graduating December 2025, or later.
Able to commit to a 12-week internship in Summer 2025 (May-August, or June-September).
Highly collaborative, team-oriented, detailed and organized with ability to multi-task.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
Passion for storytelling and identifying trends.
Ability to engage, face-to-face (or via Zoom), with cross-functional teams.
Can-do, scrappy, creative spirit, with a desire to own projects from start to finish.
Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $32.70/hr, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
