POSITION SUMMARY:
- Responsible for leading implementation, roll out of business IT initiatives and support business as usual activities for Sellersville, Pa. site.
- Work closely with the central IT teams, drive/facilitate application rollout, help determine system inter-dependencies, and plan projects accordingly. Collaborate with central Pharma IT team, Centre Of Excellence(s) and deliver mutually agreed business IT initiatives.
- Lead Business IT initiatives at the site, such as Business process improvements enabled by IT, IT Infrastructure upgrades and support. Ensure business objectives are met and critical points of integration and alignment are addressed.
- Manage team priorities to achieve project milestones.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Project Management for implementation and rollout of all IT Application and Infrastructure initiatives at the site
- Ensure the success of all Business IT projects and align with Business roadmap
- Ensure system / infrastructure / network uptime as per SLA
- Bring in the outside-in perspective, share industry trends and best practices from Pharma or Manufacturing industries or with business stakeholders
- Work with users to define user requirements, functional requirements and technical specifications and obtain business sign-off of requirements
- Work with in-house IT teams / Center Of Excellence and IT Compliance teams
- Prepare & manage the IT budget for each Financial Year
- Liaison with key stakeholders across business and enabling functions to achieve the core objectives
- Effectively communicate (both verbal & written) with Senior Management
- Define and use escalation matrix effectively and assertively to meet the end goals/objective of the program
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to comfortably interface with senior leaders, including executive staff.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of experience, which includes project management, vendor management, business analysis, software application rollouts, testing and support
- Experience of working in a Manufacturing Site preferably in a Pharmaceuticals with a global presence
- Able to balance the Site requirements against the requirements set forth by corporate.
- Understanding of new-age Digital technologies like RPA, Chatbot, IoT
- Define IT Policies, Disaster Recovery plans, and Standard operating procedures. Develop and maintain network environment documentation
- Management of IT Infrastructure (Servers, Virtualization, Network, RDBMS, Backups)
- Proficient in Network, Storage Area Networks, Network Protocols and management of converged or Hyperconverged systems. Support LANs, WANs, Internet and Intranet Systems. Ensure complete ownership (technical and functional) of the network system. Ensure high availability for all core switches, routers, firewalls and wireless devices
- Administration of GMP software as per regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 11 and cGMP)
- Experience of managing E2E IT Services at Site inclusive of timely closure of IT help desk tickets, phone requests, and/or e-mails regarding IT issues
- Knowledge and understanding of ERP system like SAP, Quality systems like Trackwise, LIMS, and Document Management systems
- Experience in Waterfall and working knowledge of Iterative (Agile) Methodologies would be desired
