Position OverviewWe are seeking a Global HR Director – Policy, Culture & Compliance to lead HR strategy, drive employee engagement, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance across a growing, multi-regional eCommerce organization. This role is responsible for shaping workplace culture, optimizing HR operations, and aligning policies with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience managing HR functions across diverse cultural and geographical teams and be a proactive leader in fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Engagement & Culture
- Lead global initiatives to promote employee well-being and engagement.
- Develop strategies to maintain workplace harmony and reinforce company culture.
- Plan and execute employee events, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
HR Compliance & Policy Development
- Create, update, and implement HR policies ensuring compliance with state, federal, and international labor laws.
- Regularly update the employee handbook and ensure alignment with evolving regulations.
- Oversee payroll compliance, benefits administration, and employee classification across multiple locations.
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring the hiring of top talent.
- Work with recruiters and department heads to align hiring needs with company growth.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, including IT setup and system access management.
Performance & Workforce Management
- Implement structured performance management processes, including quarterly and annual reviews.
- Administer employee recognition programs and track workforce effectiveness.
- Lead initiatives for career development and internal growth opportunities.
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Align HR operations with business strategy to support company expansion.
- Partner with leadership to foster a high-performing, goal-driven workforce.
- Build and maintain an inclusive, cohesive HR team across multiple locations.
Must-Haves- 7+ years of HR leadership experience in a multi-regional or international company.
- Expertise in HR compliance, employee relations, and policy implementation.
- Proven ability to lead global teams and navigate diverse cultural dynamics.
- Strong background in payroll management, benefits administration, and legal compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (PHR/SPHR certification preferred).
- E-Commerce experience preferred.
