Job Description:
The Head of sales & Marketing position is responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
As the Sales & Marketing Executive for building materials, your role will involve traveling to various locations -in coordination with Regional Sales Representatives - to promote and sell products to targeted customers and existing clients. This position requires actively engaging with potential clients, maximizing sales opportunities, and fostering strong customer relationships. You will be responsible for cold calling, door-to-door pitching, and scheduling meetings to expand the company's product and service sales.
Responsibilities:
· Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
· Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets.
· Develops and recommends product positioning and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
· Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
· Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
· Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
· Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
· Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
· Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
· Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
· Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
· Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
· Directs product research and development. Contact clients and prospects to understand their needs and present suitable products.
· Highlight the benefits of the company's offerings to potential customers.
· Conduct price negotiations to reach favorable agreements for both parties.
· Stay informed about industry trends, including product prices and demand.

Experience & Education
8-15 years of experiences in sales and preferably (but not required) in building and construction industry.
In-depth understanding of the user buying behaviors and competitive landscape in the building and construction industry.
5-8 years of experience successfully leading new business development
Demonstrates leadership skills in a business team environment.
Experience using innovative approaches to creating new sales opportunities.
