    Position Description: Global InfoTek, Inc is looking for Cyber Tool Test Engineer (TE) with documented expertise in Functional Black Box Test Engineering, experience in one or more technical domains relevant to Cyber Capability Development (Networking, Operating System Design and Administration, DevOps, etc.), and experience in designing and applying Functional Test prior/during development to support an Agile philosophy of product delivery (e.g. BDD, ATDD). The ideal Test Engineer also brings CNO operations training, qualification, and/or experience, so key elements in support of Operational Evaluation can be baked into the product pipeline as early as possible. It is desirable for the TE to have experience in Test Automation Engineering and/or DevOps, since they will work closely with Test Automation Engineers and Platform Engineers to automate and optimize Functional Testing in CI/CD pipelines. A Test Engineer must be able to collaborate well with a strong lean-forward attitude to shift knowledge left, deliver well, and reduce waste.

    Required Technical Skills

    • 2 years' experience testing CNO Tools to meet operational requirements based on Tool Champion guidance.
    • Experience developing test criteria, environments, scripts, and incorporating tools into tool chain.
    • Experience writing functional, integration, system, and acceptance test in Java, C, C++, Python, and/or Bash.
    • Proven knowledge of various testing methodologies including black-box, exploratory, regression, and security testing.
    • Proven knowledge of how to set up, manage, and create CI/CD pipelines using automation orchestration tools (Atlassian bamboo, Gitlab, etc.).
    • Proven experience reviewing unit tests and advising development teams on how to improve thoroughness in testing.
    • Experience working in agile teams to rapidly, but concisely derive customer requirements to produce tangible testing results.
    • Relevant certifications: ISTQB Foundation (CTFL), DAU TST 1100, or similar

    Desirable Skill

    • Experience with Cyber Capability Development in one or more technical domains of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux/Android) design, DevOps, etc.
    • Understanding in both Linux and Windows CLI.
    • Experience developing automated test scripts from scratch.
    • Experience designing and developing (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet customer needs i.e., Robot Framework, Appium, etc.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience working with customers to develop business process enhancements.
    • Relevant certifications: OSCP, RIOT, FORGE, COTC
