WordPress Developer

The Website/ Wordpress Developer will play a critical role in successfully delivering new webpages and evolving the site. Candidates must be proficient in web technologies, including user interface design, CSS, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery. WordPress experience is required. A key element of this role is translating designs into responsive, cross-browser compatible pages using Wordpress. Success in this role requires a strong background in CSS, HTML, javascript and Wordpress.

Responsibilities :

• Design, create, and modify websites
• Convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats
• Create back-end code and interfaces for new web platforms
• Analyze user needs to implement web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity
• Integrate web sites with other computer applications
• Keep up-to-date on web developments and trends

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High level knowledge of Web design & WordPress
• 3+ years of professional Front End Development experience
• A strong understanding of adaptive web design, usability principles and mobile strategies
• Must have demonstrated experience working within WordPress to create and update web pages.
• Experience developing pages in Wordpress
• Strong understanding of CSS, HTML, Javascript
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility and responsive web design
• Ability to create responsive web pages from design prototypes
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work to deadlines
• Previous experience in web development or other related fields
• Familiarity with with HTML, Javascript, or other related languages
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
