    Company Description

    Global Securitization Services, LLC (“GSS”) specializes in the ownership and administration of special purpose vehicles ("SPVs") established in connection with structured finance transactions. Our clients include domestic and international banks, investment banks, independent finance companies and industrial corporations. GSS’s focus is to provide SPVs with equity capital, independent officers and directors, as well as commercial paper administration, accounting, treasury management and corporate services.  The firm is dedicated to providing professional and responsible management of SPVs while meeting the challenges created by the ever-changing regulatory environment in which we operate. 

    Job Description and Responsibilities

    The position is in our Melville, Long Island office and will report directly to the firm’s Director of Treasury Operations.  Duties will include:

    • Manage SPV activity, including: commercial paper issuance, FX swaps, interest rate derivatives, investment activity, settlement of interest and fees, and payment of vendor invoices. 
    • Coordinate all fund transfers in accordance with SPV program waterfalls. 
    • Provide support to internal accounting staff to ensure proper posting of daily general ledger transactions as well as comprehensive month end profit / loss and position roll forwards. 
    • Monitor and verify all asset and liability positions. 
    • Develop and distribute performance and other analytical reports to our sponsors to assist in their overall management of the program. 
    • Work with management to recommend and develop operational efficiencies and procedural enhancements.

     

    ·        This candidate will develop into a client relationship officer and will work alongside the firm’s current client relationship officers to ensure compliance with all aspects of our contractual service obligations and ensure our client is 100% satisfied. 

    • Interact with internal staff and sponsor personnel to develop and manage SPV funding strategies. 
    • Interact with “sellers” (clients of the SPV sponsor bank) accessing the SPV to finance assets, such as:  auto loans and leases; trade receivables; and, other financial assets.

     

    The ideal candidate will have the following prerequisites: 

    • 4-Year Accounting or Finance degree
    • MINIMUM 2+ YEARS’ CONTINUOUS EXPERIENCE IN FINANCE OR ACCOUNTING
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Strong academic record
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications
    • Avoids errors, demonstrates keen attention to detail
