The hours for this position are 4:30 am - 1 pm M-F and every other Saturday 4:30 am-9:30 am.
Job Summary:
The Gate Attendant will monitor property, visitors and vendors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets all entrants in a courteous and professional manner.
- Escalates any issues, questions or concerns to the Manager of Human Resources and/or Operations Manager depending on the issue.
- Records time, date of arrivals on a daily log. At the end of the day the checkpoint log is typed and sent to the Operations Manager, Manager of Human Resources and Payroll.
- Works harmoniously with other employees.
- Ensure the Gate Office is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to read and write in order to communicate and give verbal instructions.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Must have computer skills - Outlook, Word, Excel
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma (or GED), preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
