McKean is looking to hire a Web Developer with a background in C# to work on a new 5 year contract.

• Implement all aspects of application design for scalable high-performance applications including server-side coding, client-side UI design and scripting, security, state management, logging, debugging, development environment configuration, and testing.
• Position will involve support for and design upgrades to multiple web-based applications hosted by NSWCPD.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years’ experience is software development within the .NET framework.
• The ability to design and write web applications using both standard web (HTML/CSS/JavaScript +jQuery) and Microsoft technologies including .NET, C#, Entity Framework and Web Forms.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL programming and solid database design and management skills.
• Three years of experience with developing web applications, technical software documentation, data administration, and programming is necessary.
• Must possess or obtain within 60 days of employment a certification in one of the following - Security +CE, CAP, GSLC, CCNA Security, CySA+, GIC SP, G SEC, SSCP Security +, SSCP, CISM, CASP+CE, CISM, CCISO, CISSP, or equivalent certification to those listed

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field

Required Experience

• Experience in design and development of applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core technologies
• Experience with refactoring applications and upgrading .NET applications to new releases
• Experience working with GitHub and code management systems
• Proven track record of designing scalable, distributed software applications
• Object-oriented design experience
