Job Description:

The Grant Consultant – Grant Program Specialist will manage and oversee State and federal Public Assistance grants. This role includes performing response, assessment, and monitoring tasks to ensure compliance with grant requirements and assisting state, local governments, and nonprofit organizations with the management of disaster recovery grants. The position involves providing technical support, administering reimbursement requests, maintaining financial and programmatic records, and offering guidance to stakeholders to ensure adherence to federal and state guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

· Administer and oversee Public Assistance grants, ensuring compliance with all applicable State and federal regulations.

· Provide technical programmatic support to stakeholders, including external partners and internal staff.

· Assist with grant reimbursement requests, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and eligibility.

· Monitor the status of grant projects and provide tier-two level technical support for the State’s Help Desk.

· Document correspondence and maintain records for audit and federal inquiries.

· Attend meetings and training workshops to stay current on program requirements.

Required Skills:

· Experience with grants and Public Assistance programs.

· Knowledge of federal and state grant administration.

· Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with federal grants.

· Familiarity with FEMA grant management and related tools.
