    Job Summary:

    The Grant Administrator will play a leadership role in applying for, administering, and reporting on various grants and professional initiatives for the Arizona Pharmacy Association (AzPA) and the Arizona Pharmacy Foundation (APF). This includes managing current grants related to Naloxone distribution and opioid epidemic mitigation efforts, while proactively seeking and assisting in securing new grant funding opportunities in healthcare, education, and sponsorships. The Grant Administrator will collaborate closely with AzPA members, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure all projects align with organizational goals and comply with funding requirements. This role will have a heavy responsibility for data management, reporting, and visualization. Experience with project and data management is required.

    Responsibilities:

    Grant Administration and Management:

    Oversee administration of current grants, including those addressing the opioid epidemic, ensuring alignment with deliverables, budgets, and reporting timelines.

    Manage multiple grants and projects simultaneously, ensuring successful execution and outcomes.

    Maintain accurate records, budgets, and compliance documentation.

    Program Implementation and Reporting:

    Gain a comprehensive understanding of each assigned grant and its objectives, deliverables, and impact metrics.

    Develop and share detailed project plans with stakeholders, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and organizational leadership.

    Track project performance, prepare data-driven analyses, and communicate achievements to stakeholders, the marketing department, and funders.

    Grant Research and Proposal Development:

    Assist in identifying and pursuing new grant opportunities in alignment with AzPA and APF’s strategic priorities.

    Assist in developing and submitting high-quality grant proposals, including budgets, measurable objectives, and justifications for funding.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:

    Engage with AzPA members, external funders, and community partners to promote project goals and accomplishments.

    Coordinate with communication teams to highlight program milestones and successes.

    Capacity Building and Sponsorship Development:

    Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities to fund additional programs and initiatives.

    Leverage existing projects to expand the organizations' funding base.

    Leadership and Professional Development:

    Develop and apply leadership skills to enhance the visibility and impact of AzPA’s and APF’s initiatives.

    Provide support to staff, members, and volunteers in their engagement with grant-related efforts.

    Other Duties:

    Stay informed about trends and opportunities in healthcare and pharmacy that align with grant objectives.

    Perform other duties as assigned to support AzPA and APF’s strategic plans.

    Qualifications

    Deep understanding of grants, financial funding, and financial projections

    Demonstrated experience with project management or leadership desired

    Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate goals and deliverables to diverse audiences

    High school diploma or GED, required

    Certified Project Management designation preferred

    Bachelor’s degree in public administration, health sciences, business, or a related field; preferred

    Advanced degree highly desired

    Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in either: grant writing, fundraising or sales, program administration, educational program development, or project management

    Experience with project management software, Microsoft Office, and financial tracking tools. Power BI or other data visualization experience is highly desired.

    Work Environment: Hybrid work structure with occasional travel required for deliveries to pharmacies, events, meetings, and conferences. Some evening or weekend availability may be necessary to meet project deliverables.
