    Key Responsibilities:

    Grants and Development Coordination:

    Research and manage grant applications, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure compliance with grant guidelines.

    Assist in developing and executing the annual Development Plan, including strategies for fundraising events, donor engagement, and communications.

    Event and Donor Support:

    Coordinate logistics for fundraising events and assist in donor engagement efforts, including drafting communications and managing donor records.

    Administrative Support:

    Provide general administrative assistance, take meeting minutes, and perform additional tasks as needed to support the Development team and organization.

    Required Skills

    Mission Alignment and Professionalism: Demonstrated commitment to the organization's mission and core values, with a positive, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.

    Grant Coordination and Writing: Proven experience in grant coordination or writing, with strong writing skills for drafting proposals, reports, and communications.

    Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and highly organized with attention to detail for managing multiple projects and deadlines.

    Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor database management, with strong technical skills in digital communication platforms.

    Preferred

    Additional Experience and Skills: Experience with Canva and other design tools, familiarity with nonprofit operations, program evaluation, and outcome measurement.

    Education: Bachelor’s degree recommended.

    Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data, and strong problem-solving skills for independent and team work.
