  • Responsibilities

    SPIN Global is a Maryland-based public benefit corporation that exists to disrupt disasters from neighborhoods to nations. We are seeking qualified applicants to build a deployment-ready cadre, prepared to support response operations as opportunities arise. Applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD).

    ‬‬‬ Responsibilities

    • Develop high-quality graphic designs, infographics, and visual materials to support disaster recovery projects.
    • Collaborate with project teams to conceptualize and deliver visuals that align with project objectives.
    • Prepare and refine presentation materials for stakeholders, including reports, illustrations, and layouts.
    • Ensure all visual designs meet FEMA's branding and communication standards.
    • Utilize FEMA's Grants Portal to manage and share design assets and documentation.
    • Stay updated with FEMA training requirements and relevant design trends to maintain the highest quality of visual output.

    Requirements

    • Education & Experience:
      • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field with 5 years of experience in a related field or
      • 10 years of experience in Graphic Design or a related field without a degree.
    • Completion of FEMA courses preferred:
      • IS-1000: Public Assistance Program and Eligibility
      • IS-1001: The Public Assistance Delivery Model Orientation
      • IS-1002: FEMA Grants Portal - Transparency at Every Step
    • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma).
    • Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
    • Strong ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual content.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Work onsite in North Carolina.
    • Must possess EOD.
