AlphaGraphics has an immediate opening for a Graphic Designer. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude who can create in various media - digital, print, website, social media, and more. This position takes the lead and drives projects from an execution standpoint. You must also have solid graphic design, visual communication, and branding knowledge.

What you'll be doing...

Performs efficient full-serve creation of original digital files and hard copies

Developing a catalog of graphics, templates, and creative elements

Designing content for social media, e-mail, ads, proposals, internal communications, promotional material, branded merchandise, and more

Produces jobs in the order determined by the Production Scheduler

When requested, consults with customers and schedules customer consultations on complicated design orders

Maintains a work-in-progress (WIP) folder on the file server and performs daily and weekly back-ups of the WIP folder

Adheres to legal requirements relating to duplication, printing, software, and fonts

“Upsells” other AlphaGraphics products and services when there is an opportunity

You're a good fit if ...

You thrive in both an independent and collaborative environment

You have prepress experience

You don't sweat it if you need to juggle concurrent projects with tight deadlines

You are proficient in InDesign and Adobe Creative Cloud

You possess an online portfolio that strategically hits multiple media channels.

You have experience preparing creative files for web, business printing, and large-format printing

You don't hesitate to take the initiative when needed

You keep current with new software/hardware/updates/visual marketing trends

You can work in a high-production, design-for-print environment

You have the ability and willingness to learn new software and hardware technologies

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation

You have good customer relations skills
