Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced, talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, exceptional technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with clients and the sales team to bring their visions to life. This role involves creating compelling visual graphics for various applications, including signage and branded materials, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting project deadlines. The Graphic Designer will also provide support for the prepress role, preparing files with bleed, cutlines, and performing final artwork checks for printing.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients and the sales team to understand brand requirements, business objectives, and project specifications.
Design and produce high-quality graphic designs for diverse applications, such as signage, banners, vehicle wraps, digital displays, and other visual communication products.
Prepare and modify design proofs for client review and approval.
Support the prepress role by preparing files for printing or cutting, ensuring all details such as sizing, fonts, color assignments, cutlines, bleed, and content are accurate.
Create layouts for simple needs or minor modifications bypassing lengthy proofing processes.
Work closely with production staff to ensure accurate realization of designs in the final product.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to offer innovative solutions and maintain cutting-edge skills.
Maintain organized project files, design assets, and client communications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the signage or printing industry.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing creative problem-solving abilities, technical skills, and a variety of design styles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to translate creative briefs into effective visual communications.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
