Genesis Health Clubs, the largest privately-owned health club enterprise with over seventy locations nationwide, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Department. In this role, you will create compelling, on-brand content for both print and digital marketing. Responsibilities The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and demonstrates strong creative thinking and proactive work habits. A great portfolio and advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva are essential. This position will collaborate closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, a great digital team, and will report to the VP of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop your skills in a fast-paced, fast-growing company and fast-growing industry!
· Assist the Marketing Team with marketing efforts that drive campaigns and align with the Genesis brand identity.
· Work with the VP of Marketing and Senior Graphic Designer to develop comprehensive Brand Standards and help ensure adherence to those standards across the company.
· Assist in elevating the Genesis brand through visually appealing, consistent designs across various channels.
· Scope of work includes the following types of projects: Print Collateral (collateral, signage, advertisements), Digital Marketing (web, e-mail headers, social media ads, and so forth), apparel, and other merchandise.
· Exceptional branding and graphic design sensibilities with an understanding of color usage, design hierarchy, typography, photo selection and composition.
· Collaborate with other departments within the Genesis organization to meet design needs.
· Stay current with graphic trends to maintain a competitive edge.
· Produce high quality work.
· Light copywriting (headlines, copy edits) and proofreading.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Wildly creative mind and thrive on bringing marketing ideas.
· Experience in graphic and digital media design
· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
· 2-4 Years working in an ad agency or in-house marketing department with solid portfolio.
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field
· Excellent collaborator, creator, communicator, with keen attention to detail
