Job Opportunity: 3D Graphic Designer – Custom Chandeliers & Interior Space Visualizations
Location: Hollywood FL, ON SITE ONLY - No free-lance or Remote. Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, based on experience
About Us: We are a design studio specializing in bespoke chandeliers and custom lighting solutions, with a particular focus on hand-blown glass and Murano inspired glass. Our goal is to create luxurious, one-of-a-kind lighting pieces that elevate residential and commercial spaces. We work closely with clients to design custom chandeliers that perfectly complement their interiors. We're seeking a highly creative 3D Graphic Designer to join our team, focusing on visualizing our custom chandeliers in interior spaces, creating engaging content for social media, and assisting with design specifications for production.
Job Brief: As a 3D Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating photorealistic 3D renderings of our custom chandeliers in various interior environments. Your role will also involve designing eye-catching visuals for social media platforms, such as Instagram and Pinterest, to showcase our bespoke lighting pieces. In addition, you will assist the design team in developing detailed design specifications for the production of our custom chandeliers. A strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, 3Ds Max and other design software is a must, as you'll also support the creation of technical drawings and 3D models for client’s approval before production.
Key Responsibilities:
Interior Space Visualizations: Create high-quality, realistic 3D renderings of custom chandeliers integrated into various interior spaces (residential, commercial, hospitality). Ensure the lighting and glass materials from our Murano glass and hand-blown glass are accurately represented.
Social Media Content: Design engaging visuals for social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) showcasing our custom chandeliers. This includes creating 3D renderings, animations, and graphics that will attract potential clients and highlight the beauty of our bespoke designs.
Design Specifications and Technical Drawings: Work closely with the design team to develop detailed specifications for the production of custom chandeliers. This includes creating technical drawings, measurements, and chandelier specifications using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Dimensions, and other graphic design software. These drawings and renderings will be used for production teams, and the studio to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of the chandelier.
Client Drawings, Renders, and 3D Models: Prepare high-quality visual presentations that help clients envision how the custom chandeliers will look in their spaces. This includes creating 3D mock-ups and renders, either in the client's space or a similar one, for client approval before production.
Collaboration with the Design Team: Collaborate with lighting and interior designers to ensure that the 3D renderings accurately represent the design intent and specifications.
Revisions & Feedback: Modify and update designs based on client feedback and internal reviews to meet project specifications and timelines.
Stay Current with Design Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in 3D design, lighting visualization, and social media marketing to ensure our content remains fresh and innovative.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a 3D Graphic Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization of high-end interior spaces.
Strong proficiency in Illustrator and other graphic design software (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) to create technical drawings, printed material, graphics, and images.
Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software such as 3ds Max, Maya, or Blender, and rendering tools like V-Ray, Corona, or Arnold.
Strong ability to render custom chandeliers and lighting designs within interior settings, with a particular focus on high-end materials and glass.
Knowledge of lighting principles and how they affect interior spaces is a plus.
Experience with social media content creation, including designing engaging graphics and posts for platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with the design team and clients to understand vision and ensure the accuracy of design specifications.
