    Graphic Designer Mission:

    A skilled and versatile Graphic Designer with 2-4 years of professional experience, primarily in print media design with some experience in digital design. This role will require the designer to be self-motivated, collaborative, and confident in their ability to take creative direction and turn concepts into compelling visual solutions. The designer will work closely with our creative team, marketing department, and clients to execute designs that align with both the strategic vision and the brand’s identity.

    Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:

    Design Creation : Develop innovative and visually appealing designs primarily for print media (e.g., brochures, posters, banners, annual reports, flyers, custom athlete graphics etc.) with a strong understanding of layout, typography, and color theory.

    Digital Design : Assist in the creation of digital assets, such as social media graphics, email templates, website elements, and other digital collateral.

    Conceptualization : Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for a wide range of design projects, ensuring that designs align with the brand and project objectives.

    Project Management : Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring high-quality design execution.

    Creative Direction : Take charge of design projects from start to finish, translating feedback and input into final, print ready deliverables. Provide suggestions for design improvements and enhancements based on evolving trends.

    Collaboration : Work alongside marketing and content teams to ensure the design is consistent with overall brand messaging and goals.

    Software Proficiency : Use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Apple software (Keynote, Pages, etc.) to create, edit, and finalize designs.

    Quality Control : Ensure all designs are print-ready, correctly formatted, and meet production specifications.

    Client Interaction : Present design concepts to clients or stakeholders, make revisions as needed, and handle client feedback with professionalism.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in design required.
    • 2-4 years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in print media and some digital design.
    • Prior experience in the outdoor industry is preferred

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Design Skills:

    • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
    • Strong understanding of print production processes, file preparation, and design for various media formats.
    • Experience designing for digital platforms such as web, social media, and email marketing.
    • Excellent typography, layout, and color skills.

    Creativity: Ability to generate innovative design concepts and push creative boundaries while maintaining brand consistency.

    Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to clients and colleagues.

    Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and quality control to ensure error-free designs.

    Collaboration: Ability to work in a team environment, share ideas, and accept feedback.

    Salary & Benefits:

    This position is based in our Longmont, CO office. This position is in-office Monday-Thursday, with Fridays remote eligible after initial training is completed. The typical work hours for this job are between 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Pay range for this position is $55,000-$65,000 annually with up to 5% bonus potential. HydraPak offers up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in the first year of service, 11 paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits starting the first of the month following a 30-day waiting period, and a 401(k) plan with company match after 90 days.
