  • Responsibilities

    This position will support the day-to-day activities associated with designing and creating graphics and images for digital channels, printable communications, and other communications.

    Essential Job Duties

    • Assist team in gathering requirements to design and create graphics for various communication efforts (digital, print, and multimedia applications).
    • Conceptualize and create visuals based on requirements following branding standards.
    • Communicate with users to gather information to improve user experience and user interaction through graphics.
    • Create graphics to support websites, social media channels, presentations, and other web channels.
    • Present designs and ideas to team members and management for feedback.
    • Improve graphics, images, and ideas by receiving constructive feedback from team and manager to improve products.
    • Test and edit graphic sizes and dimensions on multiple channels and media including mobile and social platforms.
    • Create wireframes/prototypes, user flow, and process flow to communicate interaction of the design process.
    • Work closely with project teams to design training visuals for new applications.
    • Demonstrate usability standards in all new and existing projects.

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web and digital design.
    • Present portfolio of illustrations and graphics.
    • Expertise in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AX).
    • Demonstrate ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
    • Strong organization skills with emphasis on being conscientious and detail oriented.
    • Familiarity with standards and best practices in digital media, company branding, use of colors, typography, and user experience design including accessibility.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    Location
    • Must be willing to relocate to the Taylor/Austin, TX area if not currently local, as this role has the potential to convert to a full-time position.
