AlphaGraphics West Mesa is a locally owned company that produces signs, business cards, brochures, newsletters, marketing materials, banners, posters, direct mail and much more.

We are looking for a highly skilled Graphic Designer/Signs with exceptional skills in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. We need someone who can immediately contribute on day one. We will train you in our procedures, but you need to already have the design skills, mainly using InDesign and Illustrator. You will be tested.

This is a full-time, in-house position. Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm – NO freelancers.

This is not an entry level position.

Print shop experience is a plus but not required.

The ideal candidate:

Must have 3 years of experience as a graphic designer, experienced in the sign manufacturing business, in a professional working environment.

Experience in the sign manufacturing business. You will be assisting the sign sales manager with client designs and questions.

Superior knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud design applications: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat.

Basic skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point.

Proficient in Mac and PC operating systems.

Knowledge of print production is a plus.

Creative design skills and an eye for detail.

Design for digital and large format signage.

Knowledge of Pantone, CMYK, and RGB color spaces.

Large format prep, cut contour.

Quick learner, who can take instruction and retain information.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple projects and deadlines.

Work independently and under pressure with tight deadlines.

Speed and accuracy are essential.

Thoroughly proof all projects before sending to the customer.
