Gray Tier Technologies is seeking an Aqua Security Administrator using a Secret clearance to support one of our clients in Leesburg Virginia.
Job Description
The Aqua Security Administrator will:
- Implement Aqua Security measures in containerized environments and Kubernetes systems, focusing on Assurance, Runtime, Image Profiles, and Firewall Policies to effectively address vulnerabilities, malware, and runtime threats.
- Configure Assurance, Runtime, and Cleanup Policies in Aqua.
- Configure and export supportability logs in Aqua.
- Provision new Aqua users in the Azure AD and Okta environments.
- Provision new user roles in the Aqua on-premise and SaaS environments. This includes creating Application Scopes, user roles, and permission sets.
Will provide customer service to Aqua users in the following areas:
- Use the Aqua GUI after being provisioned.
- Register Images, check the vulnerability status of Images, Workloads, Virtual Machines, Kubernetes Resources, and Kubernetes Clusters.
- Run Security Vulnerability Reports for Images, Workloads, and Virtual Machines.
- Configure and running CI/CD scans.
- How to configure and run DISA STIG Benchmarks.
- Provide detailed instructions on configuring/setting up new Aqua Enforcers (all six types).
- Provide detailed, in-depth troubleshooting assistance for everything involving the Aqua tool.
- Open Aqua Support Tickets and escalating these tickets within Aqua when required.
- Execute Aqua Security audits on container and Kubernetes environments, identifying CVE-based vulnerabilities and formulating integrated remediation strategies, including patching, configuration changes, and policy enforcement for risk mitigation.
- Develop optimized Azure and AWS network configurations using various cloud tools.
- Design secure cloud-native solutions following Zero Trust principles using Azure and AWS Landing Zones.
- Migrate complex on-premises workloads to Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Write custom Splunk searches to pick specific details out of Aqua logs ingested into Splunk.
- Experience orchestrating data ingestion and analysis using tools like Azure Log Analytics, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, and other data integration platforms.
- Perform security assessments and risk analyses in Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Support IaaS and PaaS deployments on Azure and AWS using AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, and Bicep to improve efficiency and consistency.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum seven years progressive IT experience in all of the following above
- 2+ years Aqua Security tool experience
- BS Degree or additional work experience substitution
- Ability to self-start and work with little to no instruction per SME in Aqua
Desired Experience/Certifications
- Security + Certification
- Hands-on programming in AWS
- Familiarity with cloud deployment tooling, such as AWS and Azure
- Hands-on experience in SaaS development.
- Hands-on experience with noSQL development.
